Hi, I am Isabella
I work as a project manager. I am a parent. An expat currently living in Roma, Italy.
A few years back, I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Italy wasn't in the original plan. As with many international relocations, it began as a work opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The initial months were demanding— unfamiliar systems, new routines, fresh expectations. Ordinary tasks seemed more complex than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was cultural adjustment, ambiguity, and plenty of trial-and-error learning. Over time, routines emerged. We found spots that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt solid.
Why I Built Voyage Canvas Grove
Most online guidance skews toward corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was lacking was a frank, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap with practical advice drawn from real-life experiences in Italy.
